Meet Marilise, Chalfont’s nail technician and Senior Business Analyst. Her goal is always to help teams build the right thing in the right way.
Originally from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, Marilise found her way into business analysis unexpectedly while working in insurance operations. What started as an internal workflow challenge soon turned into a passion for solving business problems and a successful career in IT.
Outside of work, she’s a qualified nail technician and talented sewist, with a love for making custom handbags. Her perfect weekend includes sewing, reading, and quality time with friends—preferably with a strong coffee in hand.
At Chalfont, Marilise leverages her curiosity for AI and emerging technologies, exploring how automation and intelligent tools can enhance collaboration, streamline workflows, and improve user experiences. She’s particularly interested in how AI can make business analysis more efficient—freeing up time for deeper problem-solving and human connection.
Her dream last meal? A South African-style braai, complete with fire-grilled meat, a toasted braaibroodtjie, and traditional Malva pudding for dessert.
